Applicants are advised to file the application in person at the counter. However, those who are not resident in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town may submit the application through mail/courier. Applicants are encouraged to use a courier service instead of sending through postal channel.
Mission/Consulate does not take the responsibility for safe delivery of visas, passports and other documents or delays in processing applications received by courier/post.
Each application must be complete in all respects. A complete set of documents such as air ticket, hotel accommodation, invitation etc must be attached with each application even if the same set of documents applies to more than one application. Applicants are thus advised to be meticulous in preparing their applications and ensure that the application has been properly and correctly filled and signed, and all requisite documents including original and valid passport, the original/attested proof of payment of correct visa fee, and an appropriate size of photograph are enclosed with the application.
Loose photos are not accepted and these sometime get interchanged with other applications. Hence, a good quality coloured photograph of 2" x 2" with white background needs to be pasted properly at the given space. Photographs need to be properly pasted and not stapled. Parent/guardian’s signature is required on the visa applications of minor children.
